Excellent Chinese cuisine. We ordered the steamed rock cod. The waiter brought it to our table with the fish still alive just to prove its freshness! Service is good and we were definitely happy with the steam fish, sweet pea stir fried and seafood hotpot.
We were also there for dim sum the day before. You get a pleasant 20% discount for sitting before 1100am! Once again, 5 star dim sum to die for! -

Cha Siu soh: flavour is good, but pastry to filling ratio too high. Dry pastry, but tasty.
3.75 stars
Beef rice rolls: very good. Good ratio of filling to skin. Flavour could have been more intense, particularly the rice noodle skin. 4 stars.
Shrimp springs rolls with tempura: 5 stars. Crispy with seaweed, the tempura with Japanese mayo are also really good. Beautiful presentation to boot. Just as tasty as Fisherman's Terrace's, but slughtly even more elevated with the unusual serving with tempura. Then again, you get fewer shrimp spring rolls.
Har gow: large and fresh, not as buttery as I'd like but still very good. 4.5 stars.
Normally you get a discount if you order before 10am and request the bill by 10:30, which we did. However, they said no discount for ordering early because it was Chinese New Year.
Which is malarkey... CNY eve was Feb 4th this year, CNY itself on the 5th. Maybe they thought I wouldn't know because I'm mixed, but Chinese businesses *only* bump up their rates for CNY and CNY eve. This left a rather bad taste in my mouth.
Heck, we went to Shiang Garden for dim sum on Christmas day, and they still gave us the "before 10:30am" discount. Considering the prices were also a bit higher ($6.95 and $7.25 per dim sum compared to 4.50 to $5.95 at others like Fisherman's Terrace; even top rated Kirin is less pricey).
So, if you have to try the most elevated shrimp spring rolls, try here. Otherwise there are more economical and better dim sum (except the spring rolls. There aren't better spring rolls)
nearby.
Recommended: Shrimp spring rolls, har gow.
Avoid: Cha sui soh.
Not bad. 3.75 stars 7.5/10 -

This dim sum place is of one of the more authentic as in Cantonese Old-Traditional style in the heartbeat of Richmond, BC. My mom's fav is the Law-Mei Fan(the mixed winter meats fried rice) and lots of seafood to choose from

Been there 1.5 hours, Saturday, morning tea. Foods are good, delicious, not salty.
The most annoying thing is that waiters gossip loudly with swear words. In particular, one is called "Simon." So loud, forced the tea drinkers to listen to his talk. Service horrible. -

Just had lunch here on Saturday. Nothing is special about this place. If no early bird discount, it's more expensive than average Chines dim sum restaurant. In town, and food is average. Service is very slow. Have to ask to get our food out after more than half hour of waiting.
Will not come back.
